Accreditation Centre is a department of the
Russian Association for Engineering Education (RAEE)
which reports to the RAEE Board.
Goals and tasks of the Accreditation Centre
- Professional accreditation of engineering programmes offered by Russian higher
education institutions(HEI’s);
- Higher education quality assurance of accredited programmes;
- Informing people and organizations about accredited educational programmes offered by Russian HEI’s.
Accreditation Centre Activities:
- Professional accreditation
of engineering programmes offered by Russian HEI’s;
- Interaction with governmental and public organizations as well as industrial
enterprises in order to improve higher education quality in engineering and technology;
- International cooperation aimed at providing recognition of Russian higher
education quality in engineering and technology; development of engineers’ professional
and academic mobility;
- Rendering methodological, consulting and information services to Russian higher
education institutions for improvement of engineering programmes;
- Design and further development of methodological materials for professional
accreditation procedures in engineering and technology;
- Training of experts in professional accreditation in engineering
and technology and its procedures.
