European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education
The “European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education” (ENAEE)
is a network of accrediting agencies. It was established with the purpose of building
confidence in systems of accreditation of engineering degree programmes within Europe.
ENAEE was established on the basis of the “European Standing Observatory for the
Engineering Profession and Education” (ESOEPE) which headed the implementation of the
EUR-ACE Project.
The EUR-ACE Project resulted in creation of frame standards and the European system
of accreditating engineering programmes. The ENAEE includes engineering organizations
of Germany, France, England, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and other countries. Russia
is represented by the RAEE which is one of cofounders of the ENAEE.
Currently, seven national accrediting agencies
including the RAEE and being the members of the ENAEE,
have the right
to award EUR-ACE® quality label.
