Accredited Programmes

Association for Engineering Education of Russia was one of the founding members of the Independent Accreditation Center (IAC) which was the first non-governmental agency for evaluation of engineering educational programmes.

In 2001 AEER initiated revision of accreditation criteria and procedures to make them consistent with the international experience of quality assurance in higher education. In 2002 AEER developed new criteria and procedures for public accreditation of engineering programmes and established the Accreditation Center. Unlike IAC, the Accreditation Center accredits only engineering programmes.

At present there are seven national accreditation agencies among ENAEE members, including AEER, which are authorized to award the EUR-ACE^® label.
